Photographic Exhibition
Tangent - Cuba Street
Saturday 4 June
Fragments was hosted at Tangent, a small boutique clothing store in the heart of Wellington city. Through the consideration of the owner's, Graham & Scott, we put together an opening night to screen my final year university work and hyperlapse film. Along with the screening (via projector), we set up a display in the store front to further showcase the work to the public - in the hopes of engaging those walking by and bringing them in.
This storefront visual promotion of timelapse and hyperlapse photography throughout wellington truly lends itself to tangent and gives the store an expressive boost to customer engagement.
The hyperlapse film, that was captured from 2018 - 2022, gives a beautiful insight into the scenic views in and around the city. Flowing thought the streets and taking vantage on surrounding mountains, the film showcases many views we all take for granted or even miss out on.
The event was a success, that being the store owners seeing happy customers on the night with clothes flying off the shelves.
